This project was assigned during the first year of my Master's for the Graphic/ Interaction Design course.

Based off of a freely chosen text or voice over, the aim was to create an original concept and animation.

My choice landed on the short story "Gibs Auf" by Franz Kafka, in its English translated version for it to be more accessible.

"Gibs Auf", or "Give it up", is a story about confusion, perdition and deception. I wanted to therefore create an urban but surreal and strange environment with common along with foreign elements.

This project is the portray of paranoia in a strange and unrecognisable context and of the confusion caused by it.
